Having just reviewed 295 new incoming tags, I can say that the Fediverse is becoming increasingly non-technical. I consider that a good thing but also one more reason to enjoy the coziness of your favourite niche home instance.
And let’s not forget: [if you are not on mastodon.social/.world] someone is paying for your instance out of their personal pocket and time. Not some right-wing weirdo billionaire who wants to convert you to a paying nazi robot.
